Serving the Hospitality and Multifamily markets, our reach extends across Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Tom DeYoung

  • Tom DeYoung's career spans from civil engineering to international furniture sales and co-founding DeYoung & Associates. His early success with American of Martinsville Furniture in Europe set the stage for building a family business with his sisters. Tom is proud of their legacy and continues to foster a family-first work environment. His journey exemplifies adaptability, leadership, and family values.

Peggy Hart

  • With a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from the University of Maryland, Peggy Hart transitioned from interior design to becoming a manufacturer's representative, upholding her family's legacy in the furniture industry. Along with her siblings, she co-leads DeYoung & Associates, now joined by her son Colin as the fourth generation in the family business. Peggy blends tradition with innovation, fostering strong relationships in the design world.

Colin Hart

  • Colin Hart has been with DeYoung & Associates for 9 years, excelling in problem-solving and client relationships. With a Business degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, he brings both technical expertise and a personable approach to his work. Outside of his career, Colin enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife.

Gini Heatherington

  • Gini Hetherington brings a creative flair and diverse skill set, with a BA in Strategic Communication and a minor in Digital Art from Elon University. After excelling in marketing, graphic design, and event planning in the music industry, she transitioned to hospitality sales in 2016. Her blend of strategic communication and creative problem-solving makes her a standout sales representative. Gini also serves as the Programming Director for NEWH's Washington DC chapter.

Molly Fujimoto

  • Molly, with over 20 years of experience in Publishing and Hospitality, holds a BA in English from Frostburg State and an MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins. She coordinates large client orders for DeYoung & Associates, managing vendor relationships and order fulfillment. Known for her organizational skills and friendly demeanor, Molly enjoys family time, reading, and relaxing at her cabin in West Virginia.

Tessa York

  • Tessa brings over a decade of expertise in Customer Service and Sales, backed by a BA in Sociology from West Virginia University. At DeYoung & Associates, she plays a vital role in coordinating between the internal team and clients, ensuring seamless order management and timely deliveries. Known for her dedication to exceeding customer expectations, Tessa's clear and efficient communication keeps projects on track and stakeholders informed. Her proactive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding problem-solving abilities make her an invaluable member of the team. Outside of work, Tessa loves spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and relaxing at the beach.
